July 4th Fruit Flag
It has become tradition here at GoGo HQ to make our annual fruit flag for July 4th, and this year, we wanted to show you how we do it so you can make your own for your July 4th party. We love this easy recipe because it helps spread fruit goodness through a healthy and fun party tray that kids and adults alike can enjoy.

Ingredients
10 wooden skewers (the type you use to make kebobs on the grill)
Approximately 15 strawberries, cut in half
1 large banana or 2 small ones, sliced into thick slices (approximately 1/2-3/4 inches)
20-50 blueberries
Directions
Using 5 skewers, alternate 4 strawberry halves with 3 slices of banana on each.
For the star skewers, start with 4-10 blueberries, then alternate 2 banana slices with 2 halved strawberries. Make 5 of these.
Arrange the first 5 skewers on the right side of your plate making sure all the strawberries and blueberries line up.
Place the last 5 skewers next to the others, again, making sure like fruits line up.
